Sometimes painting places I see in heaven can be really challenging so I felt to experiment with a more free, abstract and colourful approach. the path ahead isn’t always clear or straightforward so I learn to go into heaven and seek guidance from my dad (YHVH)… through the tears, frustration and pain I have a deep intimacy with Him- He is my safe haven:
I am learning to trust him with my everything. This piece was all about being child like again in my approach, letting go of perfection in my mark making and painting to break out of the boxes I had created for myself within art. Refreshing, playing with colour and form. Changing my techniques which then birthed the piece Majesty and Peacock.
